The Plastuny-In-Action month was a big success! Our goal was to purchase 10 Ultrasounds and associated iPads, but based on your fundraising efforts, we were able to purchase 15 units in May! With logistics help from Paul Chester Children’s Hope Foundation, these ultrasounds were safely delivered to military and regional hospitals in Sumy, Zaporizhia, Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Odessa, and Kyiv.
A special thank you to our three largest fundraisers during May: 1) Freedom Ride, with cyclist-scouts Roman Hrab, Taras Ferencevych, and Andy Wowk, brought in more than $10K; 2) Maki O’Connell’s Half-Ironman Triathlon raised over $9K; and 3) Efforts of plastuny in New York City, during the St. George Street Festival, raised over $7K.
